From a hummus lover

Burrata with chargrilled grapes and basil

We had another girls’ supper night and ended up with even a sleepover. In the following weeks, I will tell you about our thoughts on the starter, main and pudding. Today, we are kicking off with the starter.

I don’t know why I initially didn’t rate this recipe very highly. But what a flavour combo! It’s combining the richness of the buratta with the sweetness of the grapes and spiciness of the chilli flakes. And the fennel seeds just give it another dimension, which brings it to another level.

“Literally the best, the sweetness of the grapes works so well with the burata and the felle seeds top it off with an extra delicious flavour, 9/10”

And best of all, it’s literally so easy to make. I prepared the grapes a bit differently from the recipe suggests. Where they put the grapes on a stick and grill them, I marinate them in a tray bake and put them in the oven (just a bit easier).

Let me know if you’d make this or, if you already have, whether you’d make it again!

Rating: 9/10
