Growing up, I didn’t eat Brussels sprouts very often, and it was only after moving to the UK that I really discovered them. There are a few ways I like to prepare them: with tahini (there we go again), with Parmesan and chilli flakes (a recipe from Jamie Oliver), or with maple syrup for a more Christmassy version. All of these are oven-based.
Taste-wise, I really like this one, and it’s also fairly easy to prepare. There are just two big cons. First, I’ve found it almost impossible to find black garlic here in London, although you can definitely make the recipe without it. Secondly, it’s not a full meal on its own, so you’d need to think of something else to serve alongside it.
Overall, I’d give it a 7/10, as I do really enjoy the taste. Have you already made this recipe, and what would you give it?
Rating: 7/10
Ratings from others: Tim 6.5/10, since it is not a full meal
Cooking book: SIMPLE, link to the recipe online
Label: green (very keen to make it)
